AGENDA:

WEBSITE

·         The organization shall purchase the domain bathalad.com for the blog/website in Blogger.

·         The following documents and information shall be integrated to the organization’s website: Minutes of the Meeting, Monthly Financial Report, Poetry Reading Pieces, News and Updates, Press Releases, E-book, List of Members and Officers, and Constitution and By-Laws.

MARCH POETRY READING

·         March Poetry Reading will be on March 10 (Saturday) during Josua Cabrera’s art exhibit in Sacred Heart Gallery at 6PM.

·         The organization will take care of the design of the invitation card.

·         The printing of the invitation cards will be shouldered by the Sacred Heart Gallery.

·         There shall be an intermission number during the Poetry Reading with the following tentative presentors: 6,000 Goonz, Raymund Fernandez, and Insoy Ninal.

·         The emcee of the program will be Nancy Nacua.

READING PROJECT WITH ARTS COUNCIL

·         The final poetry reading with Arts Council shall be on March 2 in CNU at 3PM.

·         The readers will be the following: Nancy, Karla, Dodong and Maia.

·         The emcee will be Dodong.

·         There shall be an intermission number. The presentor has not been decided.

E-BOOK

·         The organization shall have an e-book printing before the end of the month.

·         For the first e-book, the poetry collection shall deal with theme LOCAL COLOR. This may include a local place, experience or scene all about Cebu.

·         The deadline for the poem entries by the members shall be on March 15.

DIRECTORY OF MEMBERS

·         The secretary shall collect the list of members with their personal information such as address, contact number, and email address the soonest.

·         The list of members shall be posted on the organization’s website.

BATHALAD CONTEST UPDATE

·         Here is the update for the honorarium of the judges of the Bathalad Contest last January:

o   Balak – OK

o   Literary Criticism – OK

o   Sugilanon – OK (Rogelio Marcia—validation)

o   Gumalaysay – OK (check Tonton)

o   Drama – Bambi Beltran, Diem Judilla – P2,000

o   Sugilanon Pambata – Bambi Beltran, Diem Judilla – P2,000

NEXT MEETING

·         The next meeting shall be on March 17 (Saturday) in Koperoti near The Gallery at 4:30 PM.

·         SEC Registration shall be reported by Noel.

·         Update for the Membership Committtee shall be delivered on this meeting.

·         Commitments shall not be made without the agreement of the President.

·         If someone approaches for organizational dealings, refer them to the officers or to the President before having any commitments.

·         April Poetry Reading shall be in Maribago. Further details shall be discussed on the next meeting.
